4th class has been visiting the library recently. We’ve gone twice so far and hope to do some more visits before we break for the summer holidays. It has been so nice going up to visit as we haven’t been able to visit as a class during the last 2 years. We’re very lucky that Bray Library is so close – we can walk up in less than 15 minutes. The library has also opened early for us so we have the library to ourselves and can really enjoy searching for books and chatting with our friends about our choices.
Bray Library has a great selection of books and the librarians are so nice and helpful, showing us where to find the books that each child is looking for. Some children have also been using online library system to order in specific books. Books like Bad Guys, the Amulet Series and the new Babysitters Club series (in graphic novel format) are popular in our classroom so it’s been great to able to use the online system to order in these books from other libraries in Ireland.
