In the senior Cedars class we have been learning about states of matter and the properties of each of the different states.
We have watched videos describing the different states and their properties. You might like to watch these videos too. They were very interesting.
We also discussed how different states feel, sorted objects and pictures and identified and sorted the properties of each of the different states of matter. and at the end of the week we did a very interesting experiment making a non-Newtonian fluid.
We also learned about non-Newtonian fluids this week. We learned that these fluids can change their state depending on how much force is applied to them. Sometimes they are solids and sometimes they are liquids. At the end of the week we did a very interesting experiment making, oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid. It was very messy, but we really enjoyed it.
